During the year 2001, Eurocast - as a private owned company - had set up an aluminium foundry in Komarom - Esztergom county, on the outskirts of Mocsa village 10 kms from the M1 motorway from turnpike "Komarom". The nominal production capacity of the melting plant is appx. 13.000 ton per year. Infrastructure: Own land (50000 m2) in an industrial zone with appx. 4000 m2 building space (built in 1990 and 2001), with a possibility to expand the land area 10 ton capacity overhead running crane in the foundry hall 2 MW electric power supply with own transformer Direct gas supply through a 3 bar main pipeline to the plant Telecommunication: internet, optical cable connecting buildings In house computer system Rain water piping Waste water disposal via pipeline to the village sewage system Internal roads made of hard surface (concrete and asphalt) Scales: 1 x 60 ton capacity, 3 x 10 ton capacity Internal security system with 16 live cameras and viewing monitors Eurocast is currently seeking a cooperating partner either in further developing its present activity or in jointly investing in products of higher added value (Gravity Die Casting).
